Blue Jay Meadows (BJM) is an eco-friendly, family run farm.  We have a passion for everything homegrown, homemade, and farm raised and teaching the next generation to share this passion! 

 

Our horse boarding, lesson, training, and sales facility located in Gansevoort, NY. Located only 15 minutes from Saratoga Springs, NY, Blue Jay Meadows will cater to the horse lover, including recreational and competitive equine boarders and riders. We care for all of the horses here on the farm as if they were our own.  Through our camps, events, drill team and educational programs, we hope everyone feels as of they're part of one big farm family!  Our mission is to provide the utmost safe, reliable and consistent care of all horses residing with us, as well as ensuring a comfortable, recreational, and educational space for all owners, students and horses to thrive in.  BJM, having been named in honor of the owner's late grandfather whose love and admiration for nature and horses started Jennifer’s passion for this industry, will be shown throughout the business as a family oriented setting for children and adults alike.

Why stop at horses?  Our love for animals couldn't be contained to just horses.  We also raise chickens and goats!  Each day we collect farm fresh brown and blue eggs from our heritage breed chickens. After morning horse chores and before evening horse checks, we milk our dairy goats.  They're lovable and enjoy company if you're visiting the farm.  Their milk provides the best ingredient for our hand made soaps

From the stables, to the paddocks, to the gardens!  Our love for farm fresh produce led us to grow our own vegetables and herbs.  We had such a plentiful bounty, we now offer Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) shares offering fresh bags of produce from June to October each year!
